Based on a recent survey conducted by International Communications Research, employers say that despite the large pool of job candidates available in the labor market, 44% of the job applicants they received are unqualified while 47% are under-qualified. Another challenge they found is getting qualified candidates to leave their secure positions. Sixty percent of the employers also said they are willing to negotiate a higher compensation for qualified candidates.
