New England accounting, tax and business consulting firm BlumShapiro and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce announced the annual BlumShapiro Golf Classic will be held July 28 at the New Haven Country Club.
The BlumShapiro Golf Classic tournament includes a reception and raffle, all benefitting the GNHCC Scholarship Fund for New Haven-area students looking to pursue a college degree in business. The fund has raised more than $48,000 to support undergraduate students to date.
“The BlumShapiro Golf Classic is an opportunity for golfers and others to have fun and at the same time give back to the community in a way that will help change lives of New Haven-area students,” stated John Zinno, BlumShapiro Shelton office managing partner and chair of the BlumShapiro Golf Classic planning committee.
